To set your study up for eye-tracking, you need to follow these steps:
- Turn on eye-tracking if it is not already turned on.
- Set up the tracker type
- Turn off Dummy Mode
To follow these steps, begin by going Edit > Preferences. Then selected “EYELINK” under Experiment > Devices.
First, you need to make sure that EyeLink Experiment is checked to create an eye-tracking experiment.
Now that you have told Experiment Builder to use an eye-tracker, it needs to know the setup for your tracker. This includes the illuminator settings (left or right) and the mount type.
Next, you’ll want to turn off Dummy Mode – do this as below.
